Did I?

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

Did I? does not collect any personal data. Everything happens on your device.

What we don't do

What stays on your device

All the data you enter into Did I? — the questions you create, your answers, your timestamps, your settings — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework.

When you add the Did I? home-screen or lock-screen widget, the app shares a small snapshot of your current questions and today's answers with the widget extension via an Apple App Group. This sharing happens entirely within your device's secure storage and is never sent anywhere.

Data you control

You can delete a question at any time from inside the app. Deleting a question permanently removes its answer history. Uninstalling the app removes all your data.

There is no "export to cloud" or "backup" — your data lives only on the device where you created it.

Children's privacy

Did I? is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because the app collects no personal data, it makes no special distinction between users under or over 13 — no one's data is collected.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date at the top. We have no way to email you about changes since we don't have your email.
